Video background remover cost for your clip
Background removal is billed on the length of the clip you upload, so set the slider to your clip and both the credits and the money follow. Every figure here is computed from the same rate the job is billed at, not typed in beside it.
From 1 to 30 seconds. 30 seconds is the longest clip one job accepts.

Cheapest route for a 10-second clip: Plus, yearly, at $0.18.
The per-credit column assumes you spend the whole allowance a purchase grants. Use half of a month on a plan and that month cost you twice the rate shown. Pack credits do not expire, so a pack holds its rate however slowly you spend it.
Plans
Credits are granted at the start of each month and reset when the month ends. Per credit, a plan costs less than a pack.
Credit packs
Pay once, no subscription. Pack credits never expire.
Buy any pack as many times as you like. Credits stack and never expire.
Every paid pack includes
- Full-quality results with no watermark
- Transparent WebM, ProRes 4444 MOV, green-screen MP4 or alpha matte
- Up to 3 videos processing at once
- Credits never expire
What 2 credits per second means
You are charged for the seconds you send, not the seconds you keep. A 5-second clip is 10 credits, a 15-second clip is 30, and a 30-second clip, the longest one job takes, is 60. People mode and Objects & pets mode cost the same, because they are one model run in two variants, so the choice is about what is in the shot and never about price. Duration is read from the file itself on our server, which makes trimming before upload the one thing that changes the bill: a 40-second recording cut down to the 12 seconds you will actually use is 24 credits, where the untrimmed version would not fit in a single job at all. Free previews are outside this entirely and cost no credits.
What happens to credits you do not use
Plan credits expire. They are granted at the start of each billing month and whatever is left of that grant is gone when the month ends, on the yearly plan as well as the monthly one: a year of Plus buys twelve monthly grants of 500 credits, not 6,000 credits sitting in an account waiting. Pack credits do not work that way. A pack is credited once, it does not expire, and packs stack, so two 1,000-credit packs leave you holding 2,000 credits and no clock. If you cannot predict your month, that difference is worth more to you than the per-credit price is, and it is the reason the packs stay on this page even though they are the expensive option.
Plans against packs, and which one to buy
Per credit, the packs are the dearest thing on this page and the yearly plan is the cheapest. That ordering is deliberate and it is most of the decision. If you come back every month, a plan costs you less per second of video. If you have one job this quarter, a pack is the only thing that does not bill you again. The awkward case is the middle one, and the per-credit column does not settle it: a plan you use twice a year is worse value than a pack, because the months you skipped still charged you and their credits are gone. Read that column as a ceiling you reach only by spending the whole allowance, and pick on how often you will actually open the tool.
What the free video background remover gives you
You can see a real cut-out before paying anything, and the first one needs no account at all: signed out, you get up to three watermarked frame previews a day with the background removed. Signed in, that becomes 20 frame previews a day plus one 5-second watermarked video preview a day, and the video preview runs the same model variant your subject picked, so it shows how that variant handles your own footage rather than ours. Previews are processed at up to 720p. Paid downloads are not: they keep the frame size, frame rate and audio of the file you uploaded, and they carry no watermark. The frame preview is the cheapest test available and it answers the one question a price list cannot, which is whether the edge is clean enough on your clip.
Per second, per minute, or per export
Three ways of charging for background removal are common, and they suit different work. Per second, which is what this page describes, bills the exact length you send: a 12-second clip is 24 credits and a 3-second one is 6, so short cuts stay cheap and nothing rounds up. Per-minute buckets bill in blocks, usually a minute at a time, so that same 12-second clip consumes a whole minute and the 48 seconds you did not use are spent; in exchange, a long clip becomes predictable and often works out cheaper per second than a metered rate. Per-export flat fees charge once per finished file whatever its length, which is the strongest of the three when your clips are long and the weakest when you are exporting many short ones, and it usually comes with a monthly export count rather than a balance you can watch. If your work is 10 to 30 second clips, per second wastes the least. If you cut two-minute pieces all day, a bucket or a flat fee will probably beat this page, and that is a real reason to look at one.
